Rosa Faia Swimwear

Rosa Faia Swimwear generally follows the same fit principles as Rosa Faia lingerie. Bands are usually true to size, although some designs can feel slightly generous or stretchy depending on the fabric and construction. A new bikini top or bra-sized swimsuit should feel secure around the body without riding up.

The brand uses a single-letter cup progression and does not manufacture intermediate UK double-letter sizes such as DD, FF or GG. A UK DD converts to a Rosa Faia E, while a UK FF converts to a Rosa Faia H. The letter may look different, but the cup volume can still be the equivalent of your usual UK size.

Shape matters as much as the label. A padded swimsuit with a higher neckline, a plunge bikini top and a bandeau style will support and contain the bust differently, even when all three carry the same size. The cut of the leg and brief coverage should also be considered separately from the fit of the top.

• Choose a padded swimsuit when you want a defined cup shape and a smooth, secure fit.
• Choose a cup-sized bikini top when bust support is important but you prefer the freedom of a two-piece.
• Choose Mix & Match separates when your top and bottom sizes differ or you want to combine different colours and coverage levels.
• Choose a tankini when you want more torso coverage without committing to a one-piece.
• Choose a front-zip style when you like a sportier, contemporary look with an adjustable neckline.
• Choose a beach dress, tunic or blouse for a coordinated layer that works beyond the poolside.

The right piece should suit both your body and the way you plan to wear it, whether that means proper swimming, relaxed pool days, a beach holiday or resort dressing.

Rosa Faia swimsuits and bikinis are predominantly made from polyamide and elastane. Polyamide creates a smooth, lightweight fabric, while elastane provides the stretch and recovery needed for a close swimwear fit. Common compositions include 80% polyamide with 20% elastane, 73% polyamide with 27% elastane and 75% polyamide with 25% elastane.

Some designs use polyester for colour, print or texture, including selected styles that combine polyester, polyamide and elastane. Beachwear is deliberately lighter and more fluid: the range includes 100% viscose pieces, polyester-elastane blends and linen-viscose fabrics.

The exact composition varies by product, colour and season, so always check the product information and the care label inside the garment.

To protect the colour, stretch and shape of Rosa Faia Swimwear:

• Rinse the garment in cool fresh water as soon as possible after swimming.
• Hand wash gently rather than leaving swimwear to soak for long periods.
• Avoid bleach, fabric conditioner and harsh detergents.
• Do not twist or wring the fabric.
• Dry naturally away from radiators and strong direct sunlight.
• Do not leave wet swimwear rolled inside a towel or bag.
• Avoid rough pool edges and textured surfaces that may catch or abrade the fabric.
