Janira sizing depends strongly on the collection. Most briefs use familiar S, M, L, XL and selected larger sizes, while Flexie Adapt includes highly elastic one-size pieces designed to adapt across several conventional sizes. Queen versions are separate patterns for larger size ranges rather than simply the same garment stretched further.
For everyday briefs, the waistband and leg openings should sit flat without rolling or cutting in. If a supposedly invisible edge is visibly stretched or feels tight, moving up a size or choosing a fuller pattern is usually better than expecting the fabric to relax permanently.
For shapewear, start with your normal clothing/brief size rather than deliberately sizing down for extra compression. A shaping brief should feel firm and controlled, but the waistband should remain in position and you should be able to sit and move comfortably. Stronger Perfect Curves and Silueta Forte styles provide more control by construction, not by being bought too small.
Janira does not revolve around cup-sized bras in the way many lingerie brands do, so the most important fit questions are usually rise, hip coverage, shaping level and whether you prefer a standard or adaptive one-size construction.
