What is PrimaDonna Sport known for?

A sports bra must control movement as well as support weight. PrimaDonna's wired sports styles separate and encapsulate the breasts instead of pressing them together, while firm cups and a supportive underband reduce bounce from several directions.

The straps can be worn straight or crossed on key styles, which can increase stability and work better beneath racerback tops. PrimaDonna's underwires are encased in several soft fabric layers to reduce the hard feel often associated with wired sports bras.

Start with the PrimaDonna size you wear in a well-fitting everyday bra. The band should feel firmer than a casual bralette and remain completely level during movement.

The cup should contain the entire breast without flattening tissue over the top or pushing it beneath the underband. Test the bra by moving, reaching and lightly jogging on the spot before deciding whether the support is adequate.

Crossing the straps can increase stability, but it should not be used to compensate for a loose band or a cup that is too small.

Materials and care

PrimaDonna Sport uses polyamide, polyester and elastane blends chosen for stretch recovery, moisture management and quick drying. Representative current compositions include The Game non-padded wired sports bra at 54% polyamide, 27% polyester and 19% elastane; The Game padded bra at 51% polyamide, 31% polyester and 18% elastane; and The Gym wired sports bra at 51% polyamide, 32% polyester and 17% elastane.

Current bras are typically labelled for a 30°C gentle or normal cycle, with no tumble drying. Washing promptly after heavy exercise helps remove perspiration and body oils that can shorten the life of elastane.

Fasten hooks before washing.
Use a lingerie bag in the machine.
Avoid fabric conditioner, which can interfere with technical fabrics.
Do not tumble dry.
Let the bra dry fully before wearing it again.
