Miraclesuit Shapewear

Use your normal shapewear or dress size as the starting point. Miraclesuit itself recommends moving up a size when you fall between sizes or prefer a less snug fit. Sizing down to create more compression is not recommended: an undersized shaper is more likely to roll, cut in or displace the shaping panels.

A high-waisted piece should reach its intended position without folding at the waist. Thigh slimmers should sit flat at the leg opening, and a torsette should shape the torso without interfering with the band or cups of your own bra. Extra-firm control will feel close when first pulled on, so step into the garment and work it gradually into place before deciding whether the size is right.

For help choosing a control level or checking the fit of a torsette or bodybriefer, visit us for professional fitting advice or use our bra and brief size guide. When shopping online, look for the “What’s my size?” button on participating product pages for additional TrueFit guidance.

• Choose a high-waisted brief for concentrated tummy, waist and hip smoothing without thigh coverage.
• Choose a thigh slimmer or bike-short shape when you also want a smoother line through the upper thighs.
• Choose a torsette when you want firm body shaping but prefer to wear your own bra.
• Choose a bodybriefer for continuous shaping through the torso and hips, with built-in bust support on selected styles.
• Choose a waist cincher when the main priority is defining the midriff and waist beneath dresses or separates.

The best result usually comes from matching the garment to the outfit rather than automatically choosing the strongest possible control.

Miraclesuit shapewear is dominated by polyamide and elastane. Polyamide creates a smooth, lightweight base; elastane provides the powerful stretch and recovery that allows the garment to compress and then return to shape. Several ranges use more than 30% elastane in their controlling sections, reflecting the firm nature of the garments.

Cotton appears mainly in selected gussets, while different panels within one garment can use different fibre ratios. Always check the product label for the exact composition, especially on bodies with moulded cups or multiple support zones.

To preserve the shaping performance:

• Hand wash after wear in warm or cool water, following the sewn-in care label.
• Use a gentle detergent intended for delicate stretch fabrics.
• Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric conditioner.
• Do not wring or aggressively stretch the garment when wet.
• Hang or lay flat to dry naturally; do not tumble dry.
• Keep away from irons, radiators and direct heat, which can damage elastane and silicone finishes.

We stock Soak lingerie wash, which is a gentle option for hand-washing washable shapewear and delicate stretch fabrics.
