Aruelle’s current seamless underwear is designed to fit true to size. The brand’s own fit guidance places the key styles in the middle of its small-to-large scale, and the high-stretch microfibre gives the briefs enough flexibility to follow the body without needing to size up automatically.

Choose your normal dress or brief size for a smooth, close fit. If you are directly between sizes and dislike a very close second-skin feel, the larger size may feel more relaxed, but the fabric should not need to be loose in order to stay comfortable.

The waist should sit flat without rolling, and the laser-cut leg edges should lie against the skin rather than cutting in. Because the styles differ in back coverage, fit is better judged by the silhouette you prefer than by assuming every Aruelle brief will feel identical.

• Choose a thong when eliminating visible coverage at the back is the main priority.
• Choose a Brazilian brief when you want a smoother finish with more coverage than a thong but less than a full brief.
• Choose a laser-cut style when the leg edge needs to disappear beneath fitted clothing.
• Choose a bonded waistband when you want an especially smooth finish through the waist.
• Choose nude beneath pale or lightweight clothing, and black when you want a darker everyday neutral.

Aruelle is less about different levels of support and more about choosing the amount of coverage that works with your outfit.

The current Aruelle underwear stocked by Ouh La La is built around one consistent high-stretch microfibre: 62% polyamide and 38% elastane, with a 100% cotton crotch lining across the key seamless styles.

Polyamide gives the fabric its smooth, lightweight surface. Elastane provides the exceptional stretch and recovery that allow the garment to sit close to the body without conventional elastic around every edge. Cotton is used where extra breathability is useful against the skin.

The official Aruelle care guidance for these styles allows a mild machine wash at up to 30°C, advises against bleach and tumble drying, and permits only low-temperature ironing. Because bonded and laser-cut finishes rely on carefully engineered edges, gentler washing will help preserve their smooth appearance.

For best results:

• Wash at a maximum of 30°C on a mild cycle, or hand wash for the gentlest care.
• Use a mild detergent suitable for delicate stretch fabrics.
• Avoid bleach and fabric conditioner.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry naturally away from strong direct heat.
• Avoid stretching or pulling the bonded and laser-cut edges while the garment is wet.
